Pitchmark is a family run business and was founded in order to raise the standard of linemarking and to improve the quality of working life for ground staff. The founder member, Mark Rodman, has over 30 years experience in the horticultural and amenity sector, both as an engineer and a groundsman.
The Impact paint system was created after many years of combined effort resulting in a ready-to-use paint and machine which has enabled an average football pitch to be over-marked using just 3 litres of Impact paint. The Impact paint and machines have been sold exclusively and extremely successfully in the UK for many years by the UK’s largest distributor Rigby Taylor, with many endorsements from local councils to premiership football clubs.
Following the tremendous success of the Impact paint system, the product was refined further to reduce the amount of paint required from 3 litres to just 1 litre of paint. This is an outstanding achievement transforming the out-dated system of diluting concentrates with water, producing a world first product which has won an Edge Award for Innovation in 2010, both in the UK and Europe.
Pitchmark is continuing research and development with many new, exciting and innovative ideas. These new products will expand and improve the standard of linemarking and we are now looking to establish links with distributors in other countries.
